Technical conditions for high strength steel plates of S1100Q
1.Scope
The technical conditions apply to high strength steel plates of S1100Q with thickness not more than 40mm use for Weld-able heavy equipments and parts (6mm-40mm)
2.Adopt standard:
EN10025-6 Hot rolled products of structural steels Part 6: Technical delivery conditions for flat products of high yield strength structural steels in the quenched and tempered condition.
3.Dimension, Shape, Weight and Permissible Deviation
The dimension, shape, weight and permissible deviation shall meet the requirements of EN10029.
4.Technical conditions
4.1Chemical composition (Ladle analysis)
The chemical composition of plates shall be accordance with the following table 1.

4.2Mechanical properties
The mechanical properties of S1100Q shall meet the requirement as table 2.

4.3Surface quality
The surface quality of plates shall be accordance with EN10163-2.
4.4Ultrasonic inspection
Plates shall be ultrasonic inspected per EN10160-1999 S2E2.
4.5Test method and inspection rules
Test items, sampling quantity, sampling method and test method shall conform to table 4.

5.Package, marking and certificate
Package, marking and certificate shall conform to EN10083-1.
6.The third party inspection
The chemical composition, tensile test and Hardness test for plates of S1100Q shall be witnessed by surveyor of client.
7.Delivery conditions
The delivery conditions for plates of S1100Q shall be Quenching+ Tempering.
8.Other requirements
The other requirements for plates of S1100Q shall be accordance with EN10025-6.
