Technical conditions for plates of P265GH
1. Scope
The technical conditions apply to pressure vessel steel plates of P265GH with thickness not more than 250mm. (8mm-250mm).
2. Adopt standard:
EN10028-2: 2003 Flat products made of steels for pressure purposes Part 2: Non-alloy and alloy steels with specified elevated temperature properties
EN10163-2:2004 Delivery requirements for surface condition of hot-rolled steel plates, wide flats and sections - Part 2: Plate and wide flats Class B.
3. Dimension, Shape, Weight and Permissible Deviation
The dimension, shape, weight and permissible deviation shall meet the requirements of EN10029.
4. Technical conditions
4.1 Chemical composition (Ladle analysis)
The chemical composition of plates shall be accordance with the following table 1.

4.2 Carbon equivalent (CEq)
Carbon equivalent shall be not more than 0.43 for plates of P265GH.
Carbon equivalent shall be calculated as follows:
CEq=C+Mn/6+(Cr+Mo+V)/5+(Ni+Cu)/15 (%)
4.3 Mechanical properties
The mechanical properties of P265GH shall meet the requirement as table 2.

4.4 SWHT: The optimized SWHT technology is as follows: heating at 610℃+/-10℃ for 7h, then followed by cooling in furnace to 400℃, then for air cooling.
4.5 Minimum values for the proof strength Rp0.2 at elevated temperatures shall meet the requirements per table 4.

4.6 Ultrasonic inspection
Plates shall be ultrasonic inspected per EN10160-1999 S2E2.
4.7 Test method and inspection rules
Test items, sampling quantity, sampling method and test method shall conform to table 5.

5. Package, marking and certificate
Package, marking and certificate shall conform to EN10028-1.
6. The third party inspection
The chemical composition, tensile test and Charpy -V impact test for plates of P265GH shall be witnessed by surveyor of TUV.
7. Delivery conditions
The delivery conditions for plates of P265GH shall be Normalized, Temperature range 890-950℃.
8. Other requirements
The other requirements for plates of P265GH shall be accordance with EN10028-2.
