Technical conditions for Caterpillar of 1E1006 (SHT 60)
1. Scope
The technical conditions apply to plates of 1E1006 with thickness not more than 100mm used for Caterpillar product.
2. Adopt standard:
WKZ566-2010 Standard Specification for High-Yield-Strength, Quenched and Tempered Alloy Steel Plate, Suitable for Welding
ASTM A6/A6M Standard Specification for General Requirements for Rolled Structural Steel Bars, Plates, Shapes, and Sheet Piling
ASTM A370 Standard Test Methods and Definitions for Mechanical Testing of Steel Products
3. Dimension, Shape, Weight and Permissible Deviation
The dimension, shape, weight and permissible deviation shall meet the requirements of ASTM A6/A6M.
Flatness: 4mm/m, waves of plate no more than 3 place per meter.
4. Technical conditions
4.1 Chemical composition (Ladle analysis)
The chemical composition of plates shall be accordance with the following table 1.

4.2 Steel making process: EAF+LF/VD, Aluminum fine-grain full killed steel.
4.3 Steel marking inside control rules shall be accordance with the following table 2.

4.4 Mechanical properties
The mechanical properties of 1E1006 shall meet the requirement as table 3.

4.5 Surface quality
The surface quality of plates shall be not bubble, scab, cracking, folded, entrainment, pockmark, Indentation oxide scale and etc surface defects.
4.6 Test method and inspection rules
Test items, sampling quantity, sampling method and test method shall conform to table 4.

5. Package, marking and certificate

The other requirements for plates of 1E1006 shall be accordance with WKZ566-2010 additional.
