1. Scope

The technical conditions apply to plates of P275NL2 with thickness not more than 150mm. (8mm-150mm)

2. Dimension, Shape, Weight and Permissible Deviation

The dimension, shape, weight and permissible deviation shall meet the requirements of EN10029.

3. Technical conditions

3.1 Chemical composition (Ladle analysis)

The chemical composition of plates shall be accordance with the following table 1.

3.2 Carbon equivalent (CEq)

Carbon equivalent shall be not more than 0.42 for plates of P275NL2.

Carbon equivalent shall be calculated as follows:

CEq=C+Mn/6+(Cr+Mo+V)/5+(Ni+Cu)/15 (%)

3.3 Mechanical properties

The mechanical properties of P275NL2 shall meet the requirement as table 2.

3.4 Surface quality

The surface quality of plates shall be accordance with EN10163-2.

3.5 Ultrasonic inspection

Plates shall be ultrasonic inspected per EN10160-1999 S2E2.

3.6 Test method and inspection rules

Test items, sampling quantity, sampling method and test method shall conform to table 4.
